This word of the day post on the ASA Fitness page sums up a moment I had today after my workout. I’ve always struggled hard with standard pushups to the point where it’s made me self conscious.
In my mind I’m thinking maybe my body just isn’t set up for this type of stuff. I was wrong off course and had to understand more about how this works.
Today I reached a milestone and I never thought I would see the day when I’m not literally on the ground after like 5 pushups (the struggle was real y’all).
Sometimes we need a reminder of where we started on the journey and how far we’ve come. And even though it hasn’t been easy and i don’t always feel strong after the 3rd set/rep (LOL you know the deal), I‘ve improved so much!
